On September 24, 2007, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Li Jinzhang met with a delegation of Colombia's Senate Foreign Affairs Commission headed by the president of the commission. Both sides exchanged views on China-Colombia ties, bilateral trade cooperation, as well as international and regional issues of common concern. The Colombian side reaffirmed their adherence to the one-China policy.
