President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping recently announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors following the decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Li Jinjin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Gabonese Republic, replacing Hu Changchun.

II. Liu Jin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of the Gambia, replacing Ma Jianchun.

III. Long Zhou was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Malawi, replacing Liu Hongyang.

IV. Hua Ning was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, replacing Yang Xiaorong (female).

V. Li Minggang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Vanuatu, replacing Zhou Haicheng.

VI. Song Yang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Peru, replacing Liang Yu.
