Xi Jinping Sends a Congratulatory Letter to the Annual Gala Dinner of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations

On October 25, 2023, President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the annual Gala Dinner of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations.

Xi Jinping commended the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations for its longtime commitment to promoting exchanges and cooperation between China and the United States in various fields and congratulated Dr. Henry Kissinger on being recognized as this year’s honoree.

Xi Jinping pointed out that as two major countries in the world, whether China and the United States can find a right way to get along with each other bears on world peace and development and the future of humanity. China is ready to work with the United States, in the three principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation, to advance mutually beneficial cooperation, properly manage differences, jointly address global challenges, and help each other succeed and prosper together to the benefit of both countries as well as the world. Xi Jinping expressed the hope that the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and friends from all sectors will continue to care for and support China-U.S. relations and play a constructive role in facilitating the sound and steady development of bilateral relations.

On the same day, U.S. President Joe Biden also sent a congratulatory letter to the annual Gala Dinner of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations.
