On November 3, 2023, Vice President Han Zheng met with Chairman of the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH Stefan Hartung in Beijing.

Noting that China and Germany are highly complementary in trade, Han Zheng said that economic and trade cooperation has always been the bedrock of China-Germany relations, and many German companies have invested and operated in China. This year marks the 45th anniversary of China's reform and opening up. The reform and opening up is not only the fundamental national policy of China but also a path chosen by over 1.4 billion Chinese people, which will not change. With the further deepening of the reform and expansion of opening-up, China will adhere to respecting the law and market rules, continue to foster a market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment, and strengthen intellectual property rights protection to stimulate innovation vitality. China welcomes multinational companies, including Bosch, to achieve better development in China and jointly safeguard the stability and smoothness of the global industrial and supply chains.

Stefan Hartung highly appreciates China's achievements in economic and social development, and expressed that his company is willing to continue to expand investment and adhere to a long-term development strategy in China to achieve win-win cooperation.
