Xi Jinping Returns to China After State Visit to Viet Nam

On the evening of December 13, 2023, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and President Xi Jinping returned to China by special plane after paying a successful state visit to Viet Nam.

On the way out of Hanoi to the airport, local people and overseas Chinese gathered on both sides of the roads,waving national flags of China and Viet Nam, to warmly bid farewell to President Xi Jinping and express congratulations on the complete success of his visit.

Chairman of the National Assembly of Viet Nam Vuong Dinh Hue, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Secretariat and Chairman of the Commission for Internal Affairs of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Central Committee Phan Dinh Trac, Secretary of the Secretariat and Chairman of the Commission for External Relations of the CPV Central Committee Le Hoai Trung, and other party and government leaders and local representatives of Viet Nam saw Xi Jinping off at the airport.

Xi Jinping's entourage, including Peng Liyuan, wife of President Xi Jinping, Cai Qi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister, and Wang Xiaohong, Member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Public Security, returned by the same flight.
