        On June 1st, the Consulate invited the police officers of Ilocos Norte and Laoag City to dinner, expressing its gratitude for thier great assistance and support during the preparation and opening ceremony of the Consulate Office.
        On June 2nd, Consulate held a party to formally welcome Ye Huoxia and Tang Luyue, the two volunteers from China coming to teach Chinese in Laoag City for one year. During the party, Chen Laiping, Consul & Head of Post presented  a Plague of Appreciation to Mr. Dave Pascual, director of Fil-Chinese Chamber of Ilocos Norte, who exerted great contribution for the opening of the Consulate, expressing  thanks and friendship with local Filipino Chinese.
