On 19 June 2007, the Consulate invited Mr. Carlito N. Abadilla, Sangguaniang Panlalawigan Member  and Ms. Judelyn Cruz, Official of Ilocos Norte Tourism Trade & Investment Council (INTTIC)  to dinner. To express  thanks for their full supports and assistance during the establishment  of the Consulate, Consul Chen respectively presented the Plague of Appreciations to them.
