On July 9, Chen Laiping, Consul & Head of Post invited ABS-CBN, RADIO PHILIPPINES, ILOCOS NORTE, DCJC RADIO other local media to Consulate and received thier joint-interview.

Chen welcomed the arrival of local media and were thankful for their active propaganda of China and the Consulate Office. Learning the structure and operation of local media, Chen briefly introduced the activities of the Consulate since its arrival in Laoag City and hope lacal media would continue supporting and assist the Consulate, and serve as a platform to propaganda China in an objective, positive and all-around way.

Chen also answered questions about the consular service, exchange of Chinese students, Chinese investments and other issues of their interest.
