On April 6th, 2017, the Chinese Consul and Head of Post to Laoag Mme. Wang Jianqun attended the Graduation Ceremony of Class 2017 of the St. Santiago School Foundation Inc.. Officials of the Education Department of Ilocos Norte, members of the School Board of Trustees, faculty members and students, candidates for graduation and their parents as well as invited guests attended the ceremony at the Uy Liong Lo Hall of the school.

In her address, Consul and Head of Post Mme. Wang Jianqun warmly congratulated the graduates of Class 2017 for their excellent performance at the school and wished them continued success in their future studies at middle and high schools as well as universities. She told the graduates that learning simply never stops in a faster and constant changing world and graduation from the St. Santiago School was just the beginning of their journey to be a learned and useful person to society.
