On February 26, 2019, Chinese Consul and Head of Post to Laoag paid a courtesy call on Ilocos Norte Imigration Chief Paul Verzosa, exchanging views on strengthening cooperation between the Chinese Consulate and the Bureau of Immigration Laoag City Field Office and Airport Operations about protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the Chinese citizens in Ilocos Norte.
