On April 28, the Chinese Consulate in Laoag donated Chinese textbooks to Mariano Marcos State University and Paoay National High School.

Consul Sun Weidong, MMSU President Shirley Agrupis, Principal of Paoay National High School Daniel Tabili, and other representatives, teachers and students attended the donation ceremony.

Consul Sun positively commented the achievements of the two institutions and commended their efforts in teaching Chinese language.He likewise assured that the Consulate will further deepen its cooperation and relationship with the two institutions.

Meanwhile, President Agrupis and Principal Tabili expressed their gratitude to the Chinese Consulate for providing another batch of Chinese learning materials, and both affirmed to continue to improve the level of Chinese teaching in the province, cultivate even more Chinese talents, and play an active role in promoting cultural exchanges between China and the Philippines.
