On June 15, Consul and Head of Post Zhou Youbin met with the visiting Governor of Cagayan Province Mr.Manuel Mamba at the Consulate.

Consul Zhou congratulated Governor Mamba on his successful re-election, and wished the development of Cagayan Province and the life of the people will be improved in his new term.

Governor Mamba expressed his gratitude. He said that visiting the Chinese Consulate in Laoag on the occasion of the 21st  Philippine-China Friendship Day is not only to thank the Consulate for its strong support to Cagayan Province in fighting the pandemic and economic development, but also to hope that the Consulate will increase its support to economic development of Cagayan in the future,and promote exchanges and cooperation between Cagayan Province and China.

The two sides are satisfied with the cooperation in fighting the pandemic, typhoon disaster relief, and helping the people in the past three years, and look forward to continuing to expand friendly cooperation in the coming days.

Cagayan Provincial Administrator Darwin Sacramed,Chief of Staff Atty. Maria Rosario Villaflor, Provincial Tourism Officer Ms Jennifer Baquiran and others attended the meeting.
