Chinese Consulate in Laoag Donates Anti-Pandemic Materials in line with the New School Year

As the new school year approaches and with schools transitioning to face-to-face classes, the Chinese Consulate in Laoag actively donated masks and anti-pandemic materials to some schools within its consular district.

Recently, the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), City of Batac National High School, Ilocos Norte National High School, Ilagan Chung Hua Institute, and Tuguegarao Ke Bing School received donations from the Consulate to help students and teachers in the upcoming opening of classes and for strengthened pandemic prevention.

Acting Head Consul Sun Weidong went to MMSU to hand over the donation materials to President Shirley Agrupis and other university officials. And, they also discussed plans on how they can further deepen their practical cooperation.

Meanwhile, for the City of Batac National High School, Principal Ditas Domingo thanked Consul Sun for donating the materials to their school, saying that these will greatly help in the protection and safety of their students, and will provide a guarantee for the start of the new school year.

The Chinese Consulate has continuously donated anti-pandemic materials to various schools within its consular district, which have been generally well received and praised by its recipients.
