On December 8, Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang of the Chinese Consulate in Laoag met a delegation from the government of Dagupan City led by Mayor Belen Fernandez.

Consul Ren extended a warm welcome to Mayor Belen and her team, who traveled for more than 5 hours to personally visit him at the Chinese Consulate.

The two sides exchanged views on strengthening friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and Dagupan City, especially the joint construction of the Chinese Garden in Dagupan.

In line with this, Consul Ren accompanied Mayor Belen and her party to visit the Ilocos Norte Chinese Garden, which is located on the beautiful shore of Paoay Lake.
