Welcoming the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year ( Spring Festival), the Chinese Consulate in Laoag and Robinsons Ilocos co-hosted a celebration on January 22.

Chinese citizens, Filipino-Chinese communities, and Filipino friends converge in Robinsons Ilocos to enjoy the celebration

Gracing the event was Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc who delivered a warm speech and good wishes.

Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang of the Chinese Consulate in Laoag, who led the program, also expressed in his speech warm congratulations and good wishes to Chinese citizens and Filipino-Chinese communities on the celebration of the Spring Festival of the Year of the Rabbit.

More than 20 wonderful Chinese and Filipino songs and dances were performed by students from Paoay National High School, Mariano Marcos University and Saint Santiago School in Laoag which delighted more than 400 attendees of the event.
