During his visit in Ilocos Sur on March 15, Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang of the Chinese Consulate in Laoag had a fruitful discussion with the Filipino-Chinese communities of the province.

Consul Ren convened with the members of the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce 1st District, Ilocos Sur and Candon Filipino-Chinese Foundation Inc. where he introduced the first meeting of the 14th National People's Congress and the first meeting of the 14th CPPCC National Committee.

In addition, he thanked the Filipino-Chinese communities for their continued support to the China-Philippines relations, as well as the construction of the motherland. He also extended gratitude for their support to the work of the Consulate, and answered some questions related to passport and visa applications.
