Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang Attends Various Events of the Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office

    On April 3, Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang of the Chinese Consulate in Laoag served as the Keynote Speaker in the combined events of the Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office (INPPO), including the Traditional Monday Flag Raising and Awarding, Launching of Ilocos Norte Tourist Female Bike Patrollers, and Send-Off Ceremony of Ligtas SUMVAC (Summer Vacation). He also had friendly exchanges with Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Director PCOL Julius Suriben.

With the start of the tourist season, Consul Ren expressed his appreciation to the police officers of the province and hoped for a smooth operation and conduct of their duties. He also praised the police department for its long-term and relentless efforts to make Ilocos Norte one of the safest provinces in the country, and expressed his gratitude for their support and help to Chinese citizens, tourists and to the Consulate over the years.

Moreover, Consul Ren said that China and the Philippines are good neighbors, good friends and good partners. With this he assured that the Consulate will continue to work closely with INPPO to serve local Chinese citizens and tourists, as well as to further promote friendly exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Ilocos Norte.

In his speech, PCOL Suriben thanked the Chinese Consulate for its constant support to INPPO, and likewise assured that they will continue to provide security and quality services to tourists and investors from all over the world, including China.

In the event, Consul Ren was invited to review the honor guard of INPPO, and was also interviewed by local media.

Consul Sun Weidong and Consul Yang Zerui also joined the event.
