On July 7, Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang of the Chinese Consulate in Laoag attended and served as the keynote speaker of the graduation ceremony of St. Santiago School.

In his speech, Consul Ren warmly congratulated the students for their academic accomplishment and successful graduation, and thanked the teachers and staff for their hard work. He also praised the school for always keeping in mind the original aspiration in educating and cultivating talents, as well as for its significant contributions in promoting  Chinese culture since its establishment 98 years ago.

Consul Ren hopes that the students will not forget their alma mater and teachers, continue to study and appreciate Chinese learning and culture, and more importantly continue to be a bridge and messengers of the friendship between China and the Philippines.

St. Santiago School principal Ma. Teresa Co extended her gratitude to the Chinese Consulate in Laoag for its support and assistance to the school over the years.
