On March 21, Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang of the Chinese Consulate in Laoag attended the Mandarin Seminar and Workshop, and awarding of Chinese skills competition of the Mariano Marcos State University – College of Teacher Education (MMSU-CTE).

In his speech, Consul Ren acknowledged the achievements of MMSU-CTE in Chinese education and appreciated the developments of the international school exchanges between the MMSU and Dezhou University in Shandong Province of China. He then encouraged the students to further their studies with the Chinese language and culture so they can become a promoter of China-Philippines friendship in the future.

The winners of the workshop received prizes sponsored by the Consulate.
