On April 2, Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang of the Chinese Consulate in Laoag met with Mayor Aldrin Garvida and Vice Mayor Caroline Garvida of the Municipality of Nueva Era. The two sides exchanged views on promoting local exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation between China and the Philippines.

Consul Ren also wished the two head officials a successful visit to China.
