Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang Attends the 80th Founding Anniversary of Vigan Nan Chong School in Ilocos Sur

On March 1, Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang of the Consulate of the People's Republic of China in Laoag was invited to attend the 80th Founding Anniversary of Vigan Nan Chong School together with Jerry Singson, Governor of Ilocos Sur, and delivered his remarks.

In the remarks, Ren expressed warm congratulations to the school board members, faculty, students and alumni. He praised Nan Chong School for its excellent education of thousands of students over the past 80 years and its contribution to the ever-lasting friendship between China and the Philippines, and hoped that the school would continue to cultivate talents for the friendship between two countries and spread Chinese culture.

Ren had friendly exchanges with Governor Singson, members of the Vigan Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, overseas Chinese, faculty and students of the school, and jointly enjoyed the cultural performances.
