Formal meeting with Vice Minister Zhang Guobao

Invited by Mr. Zhang Guobao, Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, a delegation of Ilocos Norte Province led Governor Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visited China in the past week. The delegation paid a visit to Xiamen, Beijing, Dalian and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

In Xiamen, Governor Marcos met Mayor Liu Xigui and visited the Yinlu food processing plant, he was looking forward to establishing bilateral trade and economy relations. The delegation members also had an informal discussion with officials from Trade & Investment Department of Xiamen City. During his trip to Beijing, Governor Marcos met Mr. Zhang Guobao, Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, Zhang expressed the willingness of developing cooperation in reproducible energy. The delegation also visited the windmill in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the turbine factory for windmills in Dalian City.
