At invitation, the Chinese Consul and Head of Post to Laoag Mme. Wang Jianqun visited the Baguio Patriotic School on June 9^th, 2017. During the visit, Consul Wang received briefings by the school master about the history of the school and its curriculum. Consul Wang also met with members of the school board, faculties and volunteer teachers from China. She congratulated the school for its huge achievements in the Chinese language teaching and other subjects in the past decades and wished them new success in the future.

The Baguio Patriotic School was founded in 1918. The school will have its centennial celebrations next year.
