On June 5-6, Consul & Head of Post Li Xiaoyan of Chinese Consulate in Laoag visited Baguio City.

Li met with Mayor Benjamin Magalong, and the two sides exchanged in-depth views on strengthening exchanges and cooperation between Chinese local governments and Baguio City in various fields. They also attended the 25th China-Philippines Friendship Day Celebration organized by the local Chinese community. Over 300 guests, including Congressman Mauricio Domogan, Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan,  as well as representatives from the city government, Chinese Filipino community and local citizens, participated in the related events.

Li also visited the University of Baguio, the University of the Cordilleras, and Baguio Multicultural Institue to conduct research on China-Philippines educational cooperation, held discussions with university and school leaders, and learned about the study and living conditions of Chinese overseas students. 

Additionally, Li attended the Celebration of 41st Anniversary & Induction of 41st and 42nd Batch of Officers of Central & Northern Luzon Long Se Dy Fraternal Assn.
