On May 24, 2007, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Kong Quan met in the office building of the Foreign Ministry with Marcel Koprol, Head of Division for Asia, Africa and the Pacific of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, who is here in China for consultations. Both sides made positive comments on the development of bilateral ties, expressing willingness to make joint efforts and take the opportunity of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties to continuously deepen bilateral cooperation in all areas. Koprol reaffirmed Slovenia's adherence to the one-China policy and pledged Slovenia will continue to push EU-China ties for better development during its EU rotating presidency in the first half of next year.
