On April 16, Consul Chen Jing from Chinese Consulate in Laoag turned over 1000 pieces of medical face masks to Dr. Mee Jay A. Domingo, Director for External Linkages and Partnerships of Mariano Marcos State University.

Chen hoped that the face masks could help health workers in MMSU to prepare for class re-opening. She also wished all the faculty and students to stay safe and healthy.

Domingo thanked Chinese Consulate for the support. He conveyed MMSU President Shirley C. Agrupis's gratitude to the Consulate. Agrupis said.“This goes to show that partnerships go beyond academic opportunities like faculty and student exchanges, it is all about promoting humanity.”
