Chen Laiping, Consul & Head of Post (Left) met Governor Michael M. Keon

On July 10, Chen Laiping, Consul & Head of Post was invited to meet Hon. Michael M. Keon, newly elected Governor of Ilocos Norte.

Congratulating Governor Keon, Chen was looking forward to further cooperation with the provincial government in promoting friendly relations between Southern China and Northern Luzon areas, and particularly facilitating the cooperation and exchange in trade, agriculture, tourism and ocean exploitation with Ilocos Norte.

Governor Keon said, the new government would continue coordinating with the Consulate Office and make further progresses in cooperation. To enhance the Sister-Province relations with Shandong province and explore the possibility of the cooperation in tourism and ocean exploration, Governor Keon was also willing to visit Shandong province and other part of China on appropriate time.
