On December 3, 2007, Chen Laiping, Consul & Head of Post and Zheng Xin, Consular Attaché paid a friendly visit to Province of Isabela and received a warm welcome from Governor Grace M. Padaca.

Sending the earnest greeting and best wishes to Gov. Padaca, Chen said, China-Philippine friendly relations enjoyed a longstanding history, the Consulate was willing to serve as a bridge, enhancing contact and communication with the provincial government and promoting mutual understanding and friendship. Both China and Province of Isabela should take advantage of our mutual complements in economy, actively explore the prospects for bilateral cooperation, and bring benefits to people of the two countries.
